We have created a number of Communities on the system. These simply give you a front page (once you have logged in) that is relevant to your area, for example introducing your local volunteers.
In time, Communities will grow - or, rather, shrink! What that means is that we hope people will want to adopt Freegle for their own local area (maybe a suburb, town or village), act as the local volunteer to answer questions and help promote Freegling. The more people using Freegle in your area, the more givers and takers and the better for everyone.
We are also planning to allow Communities for companies, organisations and other groups. We'll talk more about that when it happens!
